The Department of
Public Works generally is responsible for all maintenance and
repairs of all public roads, facilities, and related public
properties of the State of Airai. The Department of Public Works
consists of various duties that includes maintenance and repairs of
the roads and facilities (Community Centers, State Governmental
Offices, and Sports Facilities-Yelch Ball-Field, Basketball Courts,
and others) and also carpentry and mechanical works required to
repair equipment owned by the state government.
