The Airai State
Public Lands Authority (ASPLA) issues regulations pertaining to its
operations, powers and duties and specifically adopts these
regulations for the purpose of implementing.
The main goals
of the ASPLA in promulgating regulations are:
a) to identify,
preserve and protect all public lands in Airai State and to hold the
same in trust for the benefit of the people of Airai State
b) to utilize in
a beneficial manner all public lands in Airai State by specifying
permissible uses of public lands
c) to increase
the opportunity for the use of such lands by citizens and to
otherwise create a uniform process for persons interested in
utilizing public lands, and
d) to increase
the accountability of the members of ASPLA's Board of Trustees and
to establish a code of ethical conduct for those officials
The Airai State Public Land Authority is currently operated with
four staff namely Ms. Eleanor Ngirametuker, Administrative
Assistant, Ms. Harriet Alfonso, Business Officer, Mr. Flavin Uro,
Realty Inspector/Surveyor, and Mr. Jabson Yoshiwo, Assistant
